Job Description

SOJO is looking for a Brand Partnerships Assistant, to work alongside our Brand Partnerships Lead to: build a brand acquisition pipeline; create partnership material to support the development of brand partners; collaborate with stakeholders; conduct research; attend events as a representative of SOJO; and support in-person activations and events.

Qualities

We would expect a successful candidate to be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: this is an outwards facing role, so ability to communicate effectively and positively is a must;
  • Ability to execute work within tight timelines, managing different projects efficiently: as a start-up, we often have a number of projects to execute; the successful candidate can demonstrate strong organisation and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail: a meticulous and organised approach to creating fresh, out-of-the-box content;
  • Resilience: our work is incredibly rewarding, but it is also fast-paced and demanding. Candidates should be comfortable in their ability to effectively manage stress and time commitments;
  • Proactivity: You will be forward thinking and be able to identify and resolve potential blockers before they arise; and
  • Analytical: we use data to find and unblock bottlenecks - you will be comfortable analysing data and using it to improve our engagement.

Responsibilities

Working in a small team means that you get the opportunity to contribute across contexts, this role will be varied and will have responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Supporting our brand partners: reporting directly to our Brand Partnerships lead, you will be responsible for helping to develop and grow our brand partners;
  • Helping to manage our internal systems: CRM, brand hubs, brand asset and media library;
  • Designing and creating partnerships materials, for example developing presentations and materials for key stakeholders;
  • Actively participating in regular team meetings, strategy and brainstorming sessions;
  • Growing our brand pipeline: alongside our Brand Partnerships Lead, you will work to maintain a strong future pipeline of brand relationships; and
  • Event coordination and management: you will provide ad hoc assistance at photo and content shoots as well as pop-up events.

Experience

Industry experience: We are looking for someone who has a passion for fashion, and ideally some experience in the industry.

Relationship management: The successful candidate will feel comfortable representing SOJO, facing off directly to brand partners in a professional, courteous and joyful manner.

What we offer

  • A salary of £26,000 PA
